Screaming Mimi/Songbird

Today we talk about Melissa Gold, who started out as Screaming Mimi in a group of superpowered wrestlers who also did crime then switched to Songbird when she joined the Thunderbolts and kind of accidentally became a superhero for real.

Swordsman

Today we talk about Jacques Duquesne, who is a guy who is very good with a sword, so he calls himself Swordsman, and he mostly uses this sword to do crimes but also he really really really wants to be on the Avengers please please please.

  • Briar has been reading the Murderbot Diaries and went for a Luke Skywalker Hike (a hike where you dress up like luke skywalker, because it is May the 4th and you want to go for a hike)
  • Olivia went to a Florence & the Machine concert and saw Several shows in NYC

Princess Python

Today we talk about the Darkstars, which are kind of a knock-off of the Green Lanterns in that they're space cops given powers by an item created by aliens whose goal is to stop evil in the universe.

  • Briar finished their cosplay and now has to decide what OTHER two costumes to wear to Wondercon
  • Olivia is keeping an eye out for a bunch of new titles in DC's NEXT LEVEL and Sentry (2026) #1 as well as rereading the webcomic What Happens Next
