Detective Chimp

#419 – Darkstars

Today we talk about the Darkstars, which are kind of a knock-off of the Green Lanterns in that they're space cops given powers by an item created by aliens whose goal is to stop evil in the universe.

  • Briar finished their cosplay and now has to decide what OTHER two costumes to wear to Wondercon
  • Olivia is keeping an eye out for a bunch of new titles in DC's NEXT LEVEL and Sentry (2026) #1 as well as rereading the webcomic What Happens Next

Christoph Nord/Maverick/Agent Zero

Today we talk about David North (born Christoph Nord) who is mostly known as Maverick or Agent Zero. He's teamed up with Wolverine many times, fought Omega Red many times, and one time he even died and was resurrected by telepathy (somehow).

  • Briar found out that Robin Hobb is going to be at Wondercon this year, so has been working on a cosplay for a Realm of the Elderings group
